Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) Mobile App Developer

As a Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) [Mobile App Developer] for the ICMR CAR research project MANASI, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Lead UI/UX Design: You will be responsible for owning the design process from concept to execution. This includes creating wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Sketch. - Design and Develop: Your tasks will include translating your own designs and concepts into pixel-perfect, responsive, and performant Flutter applications. - Build and Maintain: You will be developing, testing, and maintaining robust, scalable features for the mobile application, ensuring high code quality and architectural integrity. - Collaborate and Strategize: Working closely with product managers and engineers, you will define user requirements and deliver exceptional mobile experiences. - Mentor and Advocate: As a mentor to other developers, you will champion best practices in both UI/UX design and Flutter development throughout the team. Qualifications required for this position include: - A Strong Portfolio: You must have a portfolio showcasing expertise in UI/UX design (wireframes, mockups, prototypes) and shipped Flutter applications. - Senior-Level Experience: You should have at least 4 years of professional experience in mobile development, with a significant focus on Flutter. - Design Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD is essential. - Flutter Mastery: Deep expertise in the Flutter framework, including state management, custom animations, and architecture patterns (e.g., Clean Architecture, MVVM) is required. - Design Sensibility: A meticulous eye for detail and a deep understanding of user-centric design principles, typography, and color theory are important. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience with wearable device integrations (BLE, HealthKit, etc.), familiarity with native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin), and experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
