Job Description

Role Overview: You will be working as a Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) [Mobile App Developer] in the ICMR CAR research project named MAternal and child Nutrition using Artificial intelligence and Stable Isotope techniques (MANASI), under the supervision of Dr. Pratibha Dwarkanath and Dr. Tinku Thomas. The project focuses on maternal and child health, specifically targeting pregnant mothers, infants, and school children to address nutrition during pregnancy and body composition in infants and school children. Key Responsibilities: - Lead UI/UX Design: Take charge of the design process from concept to execution by creating wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Sketch. - Design and Develop: Translate designs and concepts into pixel-perfect, responsive, and performant Flutter applications. - Build and Maintain: Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable features for the mobile application, ensuring high code quality and architectural integrity. - Collaborate and Strategize: Work closely with product managers and engineers to define user requirements and deliver exceptional mobile experiences. - Mentor and Advocate: Mentor other developers and promote best practices in UI/UX design and Flutter development within the team. Qualifications Required: - Strong Portfolio: Must have a portfolio showcasing expertise in UI/UX design (wireframes, mockups, prototypes) and shipped Flutter applications. - Senior-Level Experience: Minimum 4 years of professional experience in mobile development, with a significant focus on Flutter. - Design Tool Proficiency: Expertise in modern design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD. - Flutter Mastery: Deep knowledge of the Flutter framework, including state management, custom animations, and architecture patterns such as Clean Architecture and MVVM. - Design Sensibility: Attention to detail and a strong understanding of user-centric design principles, typography, and color theory. Additional Details: The project involves wearable device integrations (BLE, HealthKit, etc.) and familiarity with native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin) is preferred. Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications would be advantageous.
