Project Planning / Scheduling Engineer

As a Project Controls Engineer at Quest Global, you will play a crucial role in supporting the tracking, updating, and monitoring of cost control and scheduling functions on projects. Whether working on smaller projects independently or assisting a senior Project Control Engineer/Specialist on larger projects, you will be responsible for understanding the project scope, identifying major milestones, and participating in cross-functional activities within the Project Services Common Skill Center organization. Your contribution will involve studying and applying Project Controls related Plans and Procedures, actively working as a team member for the implementation of the stewardship process, and participating in project meetings while preparing Minutes of Meeting. You will be tasked with collecting and updating project Cost and Schedule information for various reports, ensuring the implementation of project plans and procedures, updating progress and cost/schedule baselines, and forecasting. Additionally, you will prepare Cost/Schedule and Progress reports and trends, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the project and procurement life cycle in oil, gas, or petrochemical industries. To excel in this role, you should possess knowledge about EPC projects and hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical). Desired skills include proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, domain knowledge in Oil & Gas, as well as experience with PowerBI and Tableau.
