Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Responsibility to achieve project schedule, product cost, project cost, product quality etc.
  • Responsibility to create and execute a Project to fulfil the Business Case agreed upon with the Project sponsor and approved by Project Committee.
  • Establish the cross functional Core Team and a possible Extended Core Team according to the Project size and complexity in cooperation with the line organization.
  • Define area of responsibility for each individual Core Team member in cooperation with the Core Team and according to the described Activity Overview.
  • Resource Contracting with Line Management supported by the relevant Core Team member.
  • Ensure Project organization and staffing of Cross Functional Teams in cooperation with the Core Team.
  • Decide on activity and process scaling based on Business complexity and Technology.
  • Ensures the presence and execution of a committed schedule based on a realistic time frame for the tasks and the resources assigned.
  • Facilitate approval of project documents for each phase
  • Report any issues that impact Project Scope and deliverables such as expected Product quality, Sales volume, Prices, Unit cost, Project costs/investments, positioning on the market, or schedule to the Business Case Owner and the Project Committee.
  • Report any issues that deviate from the last agreed Milestone Review to the Project Committee
