Review and approval of vendor drawings and technical documents related to: Material Handling Systems Coal Handling Plants Rotary Equipment (e.g., feeders, crushers, screens, conveyors). Ensure strict compliance with NTPC / Project Consultant specifications and project technical standards. Coordination with vendors to ensure timely submission of correct and complete drawings/documents. Perform technical evaluation of vendor offers during procurement. Support in engineering design review meetings , addressing technical queries from vendors and clients. Identify deviations, discrepancies, and non-compliance issues in vendor submissions and provide corrective guidance. Preparation and review of equipment GA drawings , fabrication drawings, and P&ID. Interaction with site execution teams to resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning. Liaison with consultants like NTPC, BHEL, and other statutory authorities for document approvals and compliance. Assist in preparation of technical submittals, method statements, and design calculations as required. Provide engineering support during FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and equipment inspections. Maintain documentation for engineering deliverables, revision control, and client submissions.
