Job description of Telecaller – Lead Generation Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and persuasive Telecaller to join our EdTech team, focused on lead generation and outreach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for initiating outbound calls to potential customers (students, parents, working professionals), promoting educational products or services, and generating qualified leads for the sales team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Make outbound calls to prospective students/parents from provided databases or leads. 2. Explain EdTech products/services clearly and convincingly. 3. Identify and qualify potential leads by understanding customer needs and eligibility. 4. Schedule follow-up calls or demos for the sales team. 5. Maintain accurate records of calls, lead status, and feedback in CRM tools. 6. Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly call and lead targets. 7. Handle basic queries or objections and escalate when necessary. 8. Coordinate with marketing and sales teams for campaign support. 9. Follow company communication guidelines and protocols. Requirements: 1. Proven experience as a telecaller, telesales executive, or similar role (preferred in EdTech). 2. Excellent communication skills in English and/or regional languages. 3. Strong convincing and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to handle rejections and remain motivated. 5. Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, CRM software, etc.). 6. 12th pass or graduate in any stream. 7. Prior experience in the education or e-learning sector is a plus. Key Skills: 1.
