Required Skills and Knowledge

• Design & Planning:Read blueprints and technical drawings, and prepare effective work plans to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Material Selection:Choose and prepare appropriate materials like various types of wood, metal, laminate, fabric, and finishing products.
• Fabrication:Use hand tools (chisels, sanders) and power tools (table saws) to cut, shape, and assemble furniture components according to specifications.
• Finishing:Apply stains, paints, varnishes, and other finishes to enhance the appearance and durability of the furniture.
• Quality Control:Inspect finished products to ensure they meet high standards for quality, durability, and style.
• Repairs & Restoration:Repair and restore antique or damaged furniture pieces.
