Job Description

Responsibilities

Plan and monitor daily fabrication activities to meet production targets.
Review engineering drawings, work orders, and material requirements to determine fabrication methods.
Supervise and coordinate with welders, fitters, and machine operators on the shop floor.
Ensure all fabricated products meet quality and dimensional standards.
Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce cost/time.
Manage inventory of raw materials, consumables, and tools required for fabrication.
Liaise with the design and QA/QC teams to resolve fabrication issues.
Implement 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices.
Ensure safety compliance and conduct toolbox talks and safety audits regularly.
Prepare daily and weekly production reports and present them to senior management.
Troubleshoot and resolve production-related problems on the shop floor.

Required Skills:

Should understand the customer requirements and be able to solve the additional requirements as required.
Should be self-driven, capable of taking up challenges and ownership.
Interpersonal skills - able to work effectively with other employees.
PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required.
Good written & oral communication.
