Production Assistant

Role Overview: As a Production Assistant, you will be supporting the manufacturing team in the assembly and production of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) and devices. Your role will involve demonstrating proficiency in soldering and possessing a basic understanding of electronics manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Perform hand soldering of Surface Mount Device (SMD) and Plated Through-Hole (PTH) electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) following detailed instructions and standards. - Assemble electronic devices and components according to production requirements. - Inspect solder joints and assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards, particularly IPC 610. - Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of soldering equipment and tools. - Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor for timely resolution. - Assist in setting up workstations and preparing materials for production runs. - Follow work instructions and production schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks such as testing integration and packing. - Record production data and maintain accurate documentation. - Conduct visual inspections of soldered connections and assembled products. - Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in the production process. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Qualification Required: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronics manufacturing with hands-on soldering skills. - Proficiency in hand soldering techniques for electronic components. - Basic knowledge of electronic components and assembly processes. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. - Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
