Role Overview
Product Engineer (AI + Full-Stack)
This role involves designing, developing, and deploying product features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and AI systems.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with modern AI tooling, understands product workflows, and can translate requirements into scalable and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack features across frontend (web) and backend services.
- Design and implement AI workflows involving retrieval, embeddings, and contextual intelligence.
- Build and optimize APIs, data models, and integration layers.
- Develop user-facing interfaces with a focus on structured and consistent UX patterns.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to define requirements and execution timelines.
- Maintain high code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Implement integrations with third-party services and APIs.
- Contribute to performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and one modern frontend framework (React/Svelte).
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python (FastAPI/Express), REST or GraphQL.
- Understanding of AI concepts including embeddings, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and model integration.
- Knowledge of databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Supabase, Firebase).
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and modular code.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and modern development practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building AI-powered applications.
- Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Google/Notion/GitHub API integrations.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.
- Prior experience working on early-stage or high-ownership projects.
