Process Safety Management Expert

Role Overview: As a Process Safety Management Expert, you will be responsible for developing a framework for performing Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and participating/facilitating in various Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) studies such as HAZOP, HAZID, Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and QRA. Your role will also involve conducting Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Assessment according to IEC-61511, managing Safety Critical Equipment (SCEs) using LOPA and Bow-Tie Analysis, and ensuring Process Design Assurance/Verification. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing SIL verification using exSILentia and creating plans for the management of functional safety throughout the safety lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Developing a framework for performing QRA - Participating/facilitating in different PHA studies (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, QRA) - Conducting Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Assessment IEC-61511 - Managing Safety Critical Equipment (SCEs) using LOPA and Bow-Tie Analysis - Ensuring Process Design Assurance/Verification - Performing SIL verification using exSILentia - Writing plans for the management of functional safety throughout the safety lifecycle Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Chemical Engineering Additional Details: In this role, you should have the ability to use DNV PHAST/SAFETI and Exida ExSILentia for various tasks related to process safety management. You will also be responsible for generating Safety Requirements Specification (SRS) Reports for identified Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs).,
