Process Engineer -Chemical

Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1.Drive process improvement initiatives and develop new processes to enhance efficiency and performance. 2. Identify opportunities for process improvement in areas related to quality, throughput, and production cost. 3. Collect and analyze process parameters and performance data to reduce variation, enhance process capability, and optimize overall process performance. 4. Design and implement improved facilities and solutions for dust control. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate processes and improve operational workflows. 6. Analyze and study materials (minerals processed at the plant) to support process enhancements. 7. Conduct trials based on study findings to reduce energy consumption, enhance product quality consistency, and support new product development. 8. Prepare and submit comprehensive reports for all undertaken projects. 9. Work closely with the operations team for process optimization. 10. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline and optimize various aspects of the process. Preferred candidate profile B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering or a related field. 2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role. 3. Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or other data analytics tools (preferred). 4. Experience in dry mineral processing (preferred). 5. Strong report-writing and presentation skills. 6. Quick learner with excellent teamwork abilities. 7. Proficiency in reading and writing English fluently.
