Private Equity Staff (Experienced)

In this role at Kaufman Rossin, you will be a detail-oriented and proactive Private Equity Tax Staff specializing in U.S. tax compliance for private equity funds. Your main responsibilities will include U.S. tax return preparation, reporting for private equity structures, and utilizing tax software such as CCH Axcess and GoSystems. You will need to collaborate effectively with team members and use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including functions like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing and filing U.S. federal and state tax returns for private equity funds, including partnership returns (Form 1065), investor K-1s, and K-2/K-3 Forms. - Utilize CCH Axcess and GoSystems tax software to ensure accurate tax calculations, data integrity, and compliance with filing deadlines. - Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency, communicate effectively, and complete tasks accurately and promptly. - Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, requiring proficiency in functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas for efficient task execution. Qualifications Required: - 1-3 years of recent experience with Private Equity partnership clients. - B. Com or equivalent degree. - Public accounting experience. - Strong team player with a commitment to high-quality, detailed work. - Strong computer skills.
