Print Designer For Fashion brand

As a Textile Print Designer, you will be responsible for developing original textile prints, patterns, and surface designs for clothing. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing original textile prints, patterns, and surface designs for clothing. - Creating digital prints and textile layouts. - Collaborating with fashion designers, product developers, and merchandisers to conceptualize and execute seasonal collections. - Researching emerging fashion and textile trends, materials, and techniques to ensure fresh and innovative designs. - Preparing detailed technical packs for production, including specifications on fabrics, colors, and finishes. - Working closely with manufacturers and suppliers to oversee the sampling and production process. - Ensuring all designs align with the brand's aesthetic, target audience, and sustainability goals. - Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) and other relevant design software to create textile patterns and digital prints. - Managing design projects from concept to final execution, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. - Maintaining an organized library of prints, fabrics, and design resources for future reference. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. - Strong portfolio showcasing textile and graphic design work. - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other graphic design tools. - Knowledge of textile production processes, print techniques, and fabric compositions. - Excellent understanding of color theory, composition, and surface design. - Ability to hand-draw and digitally render intricate designs. - Strong research skills to stay updated on textile and fashion trends. - Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly textile practices is a plus.
