Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Developing complex code based on functional specifications, ensuring alignment with established standards for logic and algorithm design - Enhancing and maintaining the codebase, data design, and best practices, with a focus on performance, security, reliability, and quality - Contributing to the software architecture and establishing implementation standards and guidelines for projects - Conducting peer code reviews and analysis, providing valuable insights on the broader impact of software changes - Acting as an innovative thought leader and trusted advisor, sharing knowledge and influencing architectural design and best practices - Articulating the business value of software changes to stakeholders, and contributing to prioritization - Designing and leading the implementation of delivery pipelines, including test automation, security, and performance optimization - Establishing development standards to ensure compliance with industry practices and regulations - Mentoring, coaching, training, and providing feedback to team members, while also offering insights to leadership on technical abilities - Serving as an escalation point and subject matter expert for complex production or software code issues, ensuring application stability and issue resolution To be successful in this role, you should possess: - Excellent command of English - Minimum of 7 years of experience in Java programming - Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Elastic Search - Knowledge of Clean Coding, TDD, Object Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, Relational Databases, CI/CD, and Containerization Preferred skills include experience with Cloud and Microservice Architecture/SOA, GitHub Actions, data structures, algorithms, continuous software delivery, build environments and delivery pipelines, test automation and continuous integration tools, software application testing tools and methodologies, as well as working with remote and international teams.
