Principal Associate - Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer - Data Management at Capital One Software, you will: - Help build innovative products and solutions for problems in the Data Management domain - Maintain knowledge on industry innovations, trends and practices to curate a continual stream of incubated projects and create rapid product prototypes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science - At least 5 years of professional software development experience - At least 2 years of experience in building software solutions to problems in one of the Data Management areas listed below: - Data Catalog OR Metadata Store - Access Control OR Policy Enforcement - Data Governance - Data Lineage - Data Monitoring and Alerting - Data Scanning and Protection - At least 2 years of experience in building software using at least 1 of the following: Golang, Java, Python, Rust, C++ - At least 2 years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) Preferred Qualifications: - Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field - 7+ years of professional software development experience - 4+ years of Software development experience in a commercial Data Management product that is being built from the ground up - 4+ years of Work Experience in supporting a commercial Data Management product in the cloud with Enterprise clients Please note that Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
