Primary Social Teacher

Teaching & Academic Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate Social Studies lessons as per the curriculum
• Teach basic concepts of family, community, environment, history, geography, and civics
• Use stories, activities, maps, visuals, and hands-on learning to make lessons engaging
• Encourage curiosity, observation, and discussion among young learners
• Integrate moral values, citizenship, and social awareness into daily lessons

Assessment & Student Progress

• Conduct regular assessments through worksheets, projects, and oral activities
• Observe and record students’ academic and behavioral progress
• Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents
• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support when required

Classroom Management & Student Care

• Maintain a safe, positive, and disciplined classroom environment
• Support students’ emotional, social, and moral development
• Encourage good habits, teamwork, and respect for others
• Ensure inclusive practices for diverse learning needs

Lesson Planning & Documentation

• Prepare daily and weekly lesson plans
• Maintain attendance, assessment records, and student portfolios
• Assist in preparing teaching aids and learning resources

Co-curricular & School Responsibilities

• Participate in school activities, assemblies, celebrations, and field trips
• Assist with supervision duties such as recess, dispersal, and events
• Collaborate with colleagues and attend staff meetings and training programs

Professional Responsibilities

• Stay updated with curriculum changes and teaching methodologies
• Use basic technology and digital tools for teaching and record-keeping
• Follow school policies, code of conduct, and safety guidelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
