Preventive maintenance engineer

Role Overview: As a Preventive Maintenance Engineer at Syngene, your core purpose will be to implement strategic initiatives, ensure best-in-class design implementation for a safe productive environment, manage project schedules, and perform preventive maintenance activities. You will be responsible for GMP compliance, equipment qualification, HVAC validation, and operation and maintenance of utilities. Your role will also involve disaster management for equipment and control systems. Key Responsibilities: - Implement strategic initiatives by mapping and developing solutions in line with infrastructure requirements and design plans. - Ensure best-in-class design implementation for a safe productive environment. - Work with procurement to ensure vendors deliver high-quality project execution, timeliness, and cost-effective materials. - Manage project schedules and report progress to management regularly. - Attend FAT of equipment and automation systems. - Perform preventive maintenance activities as per the schedule. - Coordinate with vendors for qualification activities at Syngene facility. - Prepare and execute equipment qualification (DQ, IQ & OQ). - Plan and coordinate with service providers for external HVAC and maintenance activities. - Operation and maintenance of all utilities during shift and day-to-day operations. - Adhere to standard operating procedures, safety, cGMP, and QMS. - Manage strict SLAs in insourced and outsourced activities. - Ensure higher safety standards during maintenance tasks and vendor compliance to internal safety standards. - Prepare QMS supportive documents. - Take care of maintenance activities related to formulation. - Prepare SOP drafts related to equipment, master list, and maintenance plan. - Execute qualifications and re-qualifications and coordinate for final review and approval.
