Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform
breakdown and preventive maintenance
of press tools to ensure optimal performance.
Support
development and trials of new press tools
.
Develop and maintain attribute gauges and fixtures
as per quality requirements.
Troubleshoot press tool issues and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Handle and use
measuring instruments
such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure
on-time tool availability
.
Maintain records related to tool maintenance and modifications.

Preferred candidate profile

Basic knowledge of press tools
and tool room operations.
Working knowledge of
AutoCAD
for tool drawings and modifications.
Strong
troubleshooting skills
related to press tools.
Experience in handling
measuring instruments and inspection equipment
.
Diploma in Tool & Die (Prefered)
Ability to work independently and respond quickly to breakdown situations.
