Prep artist

As a paint prep artist, your primary responsibility will be to prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming them. You will work closely with the painting team to ensure that surfaces are properly prepped to achieve a high-quality finish. Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to surface preparation will be key to your success in this role. In addition to preparing surfaces, you may also be responsible for masking off areas that are not to be painted and ensuring that surrounding areas are protected from overspray. You may also assist with mixing paint, cleaning equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in paint prep or a related field is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who shows a willingness to learn and a passion for the craft.
