Predictive Modelling And Optimization Consultant (SCM)

The position involves leading the solution development and implementing advanced analytical approaches in the supply chain domain across various industries. You will serve as a key interface between the delivery team and the supply chain team, ensuring a deep understanding of client business and supply chain operations. Key responsibilities include leading projects in areas such as demand forecasting, inventory management, simulation, mathematical optimization models, procurement analytics, distribution/logistics planning, and network planning and optimization. Qualifications and Experience: - 4+ years of analytics experience in supply chain, preferably in industries such as hi-tech, consumer technology, CPG, automobile, retail, or e-commerce supply chain. - Master's degree in Statistics/Economics, MBA, or M.Sc./M.Tech with specialization in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain. - Hands-on experience in delivering projects using statistical modeling. Skills and Knowledge: - Proficiency in statistical modeling software like R, Python, and SQL. - Experience in advanced analytics and statistical techniques such as regression, decision trees, ensemble machine learning algorithms, etc. - Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications. - APICS-CSCP or PMP certification would be advantageous. - In-depth knowledge of supply chain management. - Familiarity with linear/nonlinear optimization. - Ability to structure problems through data-driven decision-making. - Excellent project management skills, including time and risk management. - Capability to leverage cutting-edge analytical tools and techniques for innovative solutions. - Effective liaison with diverse stakeholders and functional disciplines. - Experience with Optimization tools like Cplex, ILOG, GAMS would be beneficial.
