Responsibilities Responsible for production output, product quality and on time shipping Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions complying to GMP norms Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime Should emphasize on cost reduction and improving the reliability of all unit operations and processes Stay up to date with the latest production management practices and concepts Knowledge and technical understanding of plant utilities, mechanical/ electrical process and manufacturing techniques Commit to plant safety procedure Knowledge of important factors including safety, quality and productivity Ensure that environmental, health and safety, manufacturing and quality standards and procedures are adhered to Ensure that all functions in the manufacturing activity operate in accordance with health and safety environmental policies Experience in chemical, API / CRAMS pharmaceuticals industries is a MUST Qualifications Bachelor / Master degree in Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineer having 1-4 years of experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to harness scientific data to derive informed decisions Location Kerala-GIDC located at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
