PR & Strategic Communications Manager

As a media-savvy and strategic communicator at Capria, you will be an integral part of the communications team, connecting strategy, storytelling, and execution to shape how investors, founders, and global thought leaders perceive the firm and the markets it serves. Capria is dedicated to investing in and amplifying startups across the Global South, including regions like India, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Your key responsibilities in this role include: - Enhancing the media presence and managing channels - Building and strengthening relationships with journalists - Securing media coverage and crafting stories - Managing owned channels like social media and newsletters - Creating engaging content and supporting portfolio companies with strategic communications - Collaborating with internal teams, founders, and partners to align communication efforts with broader business goals You will lead communications efforts for India and Southeast Asia, while also contributing to cross-regional campaigns in Latin America and Africa. Additionally, you will oversee Capria's presence at industry events and conferences to ensure the firm's voice is heard in the right platforms. The ideal candidate should be a media relations expert with a strong press network in India, possess strategic content creation skills, thrive in small teams, and have experience in managing multi-channel communications.
