Job Discription New Product Development: • Identify and develop new products in coordination with the production and R&D teams. • Evaluate and finalize suppliers capable of meeting technical and quality requirements. • Arrange samples and approvals before mass production. Vendor Sourcing & Management: • Source and evaluate new vendors for materials, components, and machinery. • Conduct factory visits and supplier audits to assess capabilities and quality systems. • Develop long-term supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Quotation & Negotiation: • Obtain competitive quotations from multiple suppliers. • Analyze pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and technical compliance. • Negotiate commercial terms to achieve best cost and quality balance. Procurement & Purchase Order Management: • Create and release purchase orders in line with approved requisitions and budgets. • Ensure accuracy in item specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules. • Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, dispatch, and documentation. Key Skills & Competencies: • Vendor development and negotiation skills • Strong coordination and follow-up abilities • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP / Tally / etc.) • Communication skills (English, Hindi,) • Analytical and problem-solving mindset • Experience: Proven work experience in a purchasing or procurement role is required. • Other attributes: Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are also highly valued.
