We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced fitness equipment technician and installer to join our team. As a fitness equipment technician and installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of fitness equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, and more. You will be working with clients to ensure their equipment is installed correctly, functioning properly, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities : Install and assemble fitness equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, and other gym equipment according to manufacturer specifications and client needs. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fitness equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety for users. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and provide solutions and recommendations for repair or replacement. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate records of equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working on and transporting fitness equipment. Maintain and organize inventory of tools, parts, and supplies needed for installations and repairs. Collaborate with other team members, including sales and customer service representatives, to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fitness equipment. Strong mechanical skills and ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Familiarity with a wide range of fitness equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, and more. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver s license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
