Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power Press Operator to set up, operate, and maintain mechanical or hydraulic power presses used in metal forming operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with various press machines, a strong understanding of safety standards, and the ability to interpret blueprints and work orders accurately. Key Responsibilities :Set up and operate power press machines to shape, cut, and form metal or other materials according to specifications. Adjust machine settings such as pressure, feed rate, and die clearance based on material and part specifications. Perform routine checks to ensure press machines operate efficiently and safely. Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet required specifications and tolerances. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders. Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot any malfunctions or irregularities. Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and reporting mechanical issues for repair. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep accurate production records and report quantities, scrap, and downtime.
