As a SSC Sustainability Technical Specialist at Bureau Veritas Industrial Services in Mumbai, you will play a key role in supporting the Sustainability Service Line by reviewing environment and social related documents of Second party suppliers. Your primary responsibility will involve ensuring that Master Clients of Bureau Veritas can manage supplier qualification in alignment with their sustainability assurance policies. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance sustainability evaluation processes and provide training to technical specialists on the defined evaluation methodology. Your main responsibilities will include conducting reviews of Audit reports and Supplier Assessment Questionnaires, raising defects, following up on rectification processes, and answering supplier inquiries related to the evaluation methodology. You will also be responsible for updating internal documents and databases, maintaining production data, reviewing non-conformity documents, providing support to Country programs, and contributing to the end-to-end process monitoring for the scheme in focus. Your success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of reviews performed within service level agreements, feedback on the quality of reviews, conducting training sessions, catering to unique client requirements, onboarding new team members, and creating new evaluation content. To excel in this position, you should hold a BSc/MSc degree, preferably in sustainability-related subjects like environmental sciences or social sciences, and demonstrate a strong passion for sustainability topics. Additionally, having knowledge or certification in QMS Lead Auditor for Environmental Management System and/or ISO45001 will be advantageous. You should possess excellent English communication skills, both oral and written, be detail-oriented, have good analytical and problem-solving abilities, exhibit time management skills, and be an effective team player.
