As a Jigs & Fixtures Design Engineer at Forar Tech India Private Limited, you will be responsible for showcasing your expertise in Jigs & Fixtures (Welding) design and development. Your role will involve executing the Fixture design process from scratch to final delivery, including creating 3D models and 2D drawings. Additionally, having knowledge of Robotic welding will be considered an advantage for this position. Your proficiency will be demonstrated through the development of multiple Fixture concepts and the selection of standard parts such as Bearings, Clamps, Cylinders, Motors, LM guides, Extrusions, Pins, supported by relevant calculations. You should possess a strong understanding of Manual Clamping, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic clamping techniques. Familiarity with Pneumatic and hydraulic circuits will be an added advantage in this role. Proficiency in Solid Works for Part, Assembly, and Sheetmetal Modelling is essential for this position. Basic knowledge of Solid Works Macros, Static Analysis, Motion study, and Rendering will be considered advantageous. Additionally, a sound understanding of GD&T and Tolerance Stack up is required. You will also be expected to implement Poka-Yoke concepts in the Design of Jigs & Fixtures. To be eligible for this role, you should hold a Degree in BE-Mechanical with 5 to 10 years of experience specifically in Jigs & Fixtures. Excellent verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with team members and clients. The job location for this position is Coimbatore.
