PMIC System and Validation Engineer

As a PMIC Systems & Validation Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be part of the Power Management Systems, Validation & Integration team (PMIC-SVI) responsible for the system architecture and post-silicon validation of high-performance Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) embedded in Chipsets for various consumer electronics. Your role will involve a mix of Architecture, HW Systems, Functional Validation, Chipset integration, and customer issue debug support. You will work on state-of-the-art technology to enable products with world-leading brands. Depending on your experience level and technical expertise, you will own and participate in systems definition, HW/SW debugging, and validation of PMIC solutions by collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define Top-Level specifications involving HW/FW/SW level partitioning, HW Register interfaces, protocol selection, multi-PMIC connectivity grid, and debug framework support to meet chipset level requirements. - Develop a comprehensive functional validation plan covering manual and automated test cases, execute tests, analyze results at HW-level through signal measurements, debug issues, and create detailed reports. - Perform risk assessment of development and validation plans, interact with cross-functional teams, and engage with customer support teams globally. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electronics related Engineering is a must. - Master's degree with specialization in VLSI / Microelectronics, Power Management, etc. is preferred. - 1-3 years of job-experience relevant to various HW/S aspects of electronic product development. - Hands-on lab experience in Post-Si Validation, familiarity with PMIC, Power Management, Microcontroller architecture, and basic-firmware & HW-SW interaction. - Strong programming skills in languages like C#, F#, Python, Perl, LabVIEW, or any other scripting language used in VLSI/Embedded Domain. - Good analytical & communication skills, ability to seek information proactively, and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Experience in automating test-cases for HW-systems via SW-control, ability to strategize and execute tasks effectively, and prior experience in leading white-box validation efforts are a plus. - Exposure to Assembly-language programming and tools like JIRA and GIT would be beneficial.
