SECTION I: BASIC INFORMATION Role: Planning Engineer Job Family: Project Planning & Controls Job Overview: Construction of a multispeciality hospital and an amenities building as part of an integrated development project. SECTION II: ROLE SUMMARY The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely execution of construction activities. The role involves preparing baseline schedules, tracking project progress, coordinating with site teams, identifying delays, proposing recovery measures, and supporting progress reporting. The Planning Engineer will work closely with project managers, site engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate planning and execution alignment. SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare baseline project schedules using tools such as MS Project / Primavera (P6). • Monitor site progress and update schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines. • Identify schedule deviations, delays, and risks; propose mitigation or recovery plans. • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and design teams to gather progress inputs. • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports as per project requirements. • Assist in preparing project phasing, sequencing, and resource allocation plans. • Track critical activities, milestones, and dependencies to avoid delays. • Participate in project review meetings and present schedule updates. • Support cash flow planning, productivity tracking, and work-front planning. • Integrate civil, architectural, and MEP works into a unified project schedule. • Assist billing teams by providing measurement progress inputs as required. • Maintain planning logs, delay registers, and updated forecast schedules. SECTION IV: KEY INTERACTIONS Internal Stakeholders: • Project Manager / Construction Manager • Billing, QA/QC, and Safety Teams • Civil, MEP, and Design Coordination Teams External Stakeholders: • Contractors and Subcontractors • Architects and Consultants • Client / PMC (as applicable) SECTION V: KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: • Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering Language Skills: • Good communication skills in Tamil and English/Hindi Experience: • 4 to 8 years of experience in construction planning • Experience in building/infrastructure projects; hospital project exposure is an added advantage • Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project SECTION VI: TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL SKILLS Technical Skills: • Strong understanding of planning tools (Primavera / MS Project) • Knowledge of construction sequencing, resource planning, and work front planning • Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and project specifications • Familiarity with progress tracking and reporting methodologies • Understanding of productivity analysis and delay impact assessment Behavioral / Soft Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Effective communication and coordination abilities • Detail-oriented, proactive, and structured in planning • Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines SECTION VII: EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Competitive salary with statutory benefits . SECTION I: BASIC INFORMATION Role: Civil Site Engineer Job Family: Construction / Project Execution Job Overview: Construction of a multispecialty hospital and an amenities building as part of an integrated development project. SECTION II: ROLE SUMMARY The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day construction activities to ensure timely and quality execution of works as per approved drawings and specifications. The role involves managing civil, structural, architectural, and MEP-related site activities, ensuring compliance with project standards, resolving technical issues, and supporting the Project Manager in achieving project milestones. Experience in hospital or healthcare facility construction will be an added advantage. SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and monitor daily site activities including civil, structural, architectural, and basic MEP works. Ensure construction progress aligns with approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project schedule. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of work fronts. Review drawings, raise RFIs (Request for Information), and resolve design-related queries with consultants. Check material availability, verify quality, and ensure materials meet project requirements. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports; support planning and tracking of construction activities. Verify measurements, support bill certification, and ensure accuracy in quantity tracking. Monitor critical areas, including finishing works, services coordination, and handover readiness. Ensure compliance with site safety standards, method statements, and construction protocols. Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including architects, consultants, MEP teams, and QA/QC teams. Support testing and commissioning activities and assist in closing snag lists. Identify site issues and propose corrective actions to avoid delays or quality deviations. (Preferred) Coordinate specialized works for hospital projects such as ICU, OT, Emergency areas, HVAC systems, MGPS, and fire safety installations.
