Job Title: Plumbing Technician Industry: Construction Location: Koyambedu Site ( Chennai Location ) Experience: 5 to 10 Years Duty Hours: 12 hours per day (Mandatory) Employment Type: Full-time Education : ITI ( Or ) Diploma ( Civil / Electrical ) Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Plumbing Technician to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in plumbing work within the construction industry and must be committed to a 12-hour daily duty schedule .responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment in line with industry standards and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing installations Install, assemble, and maintain pipes, fixtures, valves, drainage systems, and water supply lines in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects Diagnose plumbing problems and perform necessary repairs and maintenance Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and safety regulations Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to coordinate plumbing tasks with overall construction activities Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure plumbing systems are leak-free and functioning efficiently Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition Accurately document work completed and materials used Adhere to site schedules and work efficiently during extended shifts (12 hours/day) Required Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 5 to 10 years of hands-on plumbing experience in the construction sector In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and installation techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Familiarity with local plumbing codes and safety standards Physical stamina and the ability to work long hours in a demanding environment Team player with good communication skills Trade certification or vocational training in plumbing is preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Rotational shift Work Location: In person
