Roles & Responsibilities:Coordinate with suppliers and have a thorough understanding of product packaging requirements. Provide user-friendly solutions while understanding the buyer's needs. Stay updated with new trends in the cosmetics industry. Manage inquiries related to new components for Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary packaging developments. Address queries and resolve issues related to new product development and sourcing the necessary raw materials from the right vendors. Meet with vendors (e.g., fragrance, bottle, cap, pump, packaging, etc.) to gather information on new product developments. Conduct plant visits for proofing, online approvals during commercial production runs, and to contract manufacturers for input packaging QC and line trials. Gather feedback, suggestions, and comments that could lead to the creation of new products. Generate and maintain documentation for artwork, specifications, and meeting minutes (MOMs) with vendors. Assess the quality of incoming and finished products, taking necessary actions to rectify issues and communicate with suppliers or contract manufacturers as needed. Role Requirements:A diploma, graduate, or masters degree in Packaging & Development with 4+ years of experience in a Cosmetics Manufacturing Company is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of print and packaging development. Innovative solutions for replacing plastic and providing sustainable packaging alternatives. Must have experience in raw material procurement for packaging. Proven vendor management skills to oversee both existing and new vendors/suppliers. Strong analytical skills, along with critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines and budgets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be adaptable and capable of working within an unstructured environment. Willingness to travel as required.Male candidates preferred.
