Playwright Automation Tester

You will be working as a Playwright Automation Tester at NTT DATA in Bengaluru, Karntaka (IN-KA), India. As a Playwright Automation Tester, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for modern web applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, BAs, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright - Build and enhance test frameworks using TypeScript / JavaScript - Automate cross-browser testing - Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing - Integrate Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) - Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and test scenarios - Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and report defects clearly - Maintain test data and reusable test utilities - Ensure tests follow best practices, coding standards, and version control - Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and automation best practices **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Strong hands-on experience with Playwright - Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript - Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) - Experience with UI automation and end-to-end testing - Knowledge of test design techniques - Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems - Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing - Experience running tests in headless mode and parallel execution - Familiarity with CI/CD tools - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills **About NTT DATA:** NTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
