Platform Architect - Automotive technologies - Lead Engg

As an experienced Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPUs. Your role will involve working with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. You should have a strong background in embedded platforms, including low-level firmware, kernel, and user-space components. Additionally, you will contribute to the design and development of software for heterogeneous compute platforms consisting of ARMs, GPUs, DSPs, and specialized hardware accelerators in embedded SoC systems with J-TAG or ICE debuggers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and support software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPUs - Utilize Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Work on embedded platforms including low-level firmware, kernel, and user-space components - Contribute to the design and development of software for heterogeneous compute platforms - Collaborate with a team to analyze, triage, and debug complex system-level problems and issues - Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering experience OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of Software Engineering experience - 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Experience in BSP, ARM Arch, Busses (I2C, SPI etc), DDR, Baremetal drivers - Proficiency in real-time software development for embedded products - Strong ability to learn and work effectively in a team environment Please note that Qualcomm India Private Limited is an equal opportunity employer that provides accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
