Plant Layout Design Engineer

AGILE PMC Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Layout Design Engineer to become a valuable member of our expanding team based in Chennai. If you possess a solid background in AutoCAD-based plant layout design specifically for cement plants and are enthusiastic about contributing to diverse projects nationwide and internationally, then this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a Plant Layout Design Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include preparing and developing 2D layout drawings for cement/process plant facilities. You will be tasked with designing and detailing equipment layouts, structures, conveyors, silos, and ducts while collaborating closely with mechanical, civil, and electrical teams to ensure an integrated design approach. It will also be your responsibility to guarantee that all designs adhere to project specifications and safety regulations. Additionally, you will be involved in supporting the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and liaising with site execution teams as necessary. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and possess a minimum of 5-15 years of relevant experience in plant layout design within the cement or mining industries. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with 2D capabilities being mandatory and 3D skills being preferred. A good understanding of cement plant equipment and industrial standards will be advantageous to excel in this role.
