Piping Designer Engineer

As a Piping Design Engineer specializing in Stainless Steel, you will be responsible for developing detailed piping layouts, including P&IDs and isometrics, using CAD software. Your role will involve selecting appropriate piping materials, fittings, and valves based on project requirements and industry standards. Additionally, you will perform stress calculations and simulations to ensure the structural integrity of the piping system. In this position, it is crucial to ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and project specifications. Collaboration with project managers, construction teams, and other engineers will be essential to guarantee the successful implementation of the piping design. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any design or operational issues that may arise during the project. To qualify for this role, you must hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation is required, along with a solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ASME, ANSI). Previous experience in piping design, including P&IDs, isometrics, and flow diagrams, is preferred, accompanied by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
