Role Overview As a physiotherapist at Nahla Centre, your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, and deliver individualized physiotherapy interventions to children with developmental and physical challenges. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists, to ensure holistic care. Key Responsibilities Assessment & Evaluation : Conduct thorough assessments of children's physical abilities, motor skills, and functional limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and family goals. Therapeutic Interventions : Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions tailored to each child’s needs. Utilize techniques such as exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices to improve mobility and strength. Monitoring Progress : Regularly review and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary. Communicate findings and progress to families and the multidisciplinary team. Education & Support : Educate families on exercises, activities, and strategies to support their child’s development at home. Provide guidance on the use of adaptive equipment and modifications to the home environment. Collaboration : Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions. Community Involvement : Engage with community resources and programs to support children and families. Provide outreach and education to promote awareness of child development issues. Professional Development : Stay current with the latest research and best practices in pediatric physiotherapy. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Current registration and licensure to practice physiotherapy in India. Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental delays or disabilities, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Employment Details Job Type : Full-time.
