Job Title: Paediatric Physiotherapist Location: Nahla Centre for Child Development Position Type: Full-Time Reports To: Clinical Director / Therapy Coordinator About Us: Nahla Centre for Child Development is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and multidisciplinary care to children with developmental delays, physical disabilities, and neurodevelopmental disorders. We focus on empowering children and their families through early intervention, individualized therapy plans, and a supportive environment. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy programs to support the physical development and functional independence of children from infancy to adolescence. Key Responsibilities: Assess physical and motor development issues in infants and children with a variety of conditions (e.g., cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, developmental coordination disorder, autism spectrum disorder, musculoskeletal or neurological conditions). Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving strength, balance, coordination, motor planning, posture, and mobility. Use a range of therapeutic techniques, including neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), sensory integration, therapeutic play, and functional exercises. Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, speech-language therapists, special educators, and medical professionals to provide integrated care. Educate and support families and caregivers on home-based strategies, exercises, and adaptive techniques. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment notes, and progress reports. Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education programs. Contribute to the development of therapy resources and assist in parent training workshops or centre-wide activities. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT / MPT). Valid professional license/registration as required by local regulations. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in paediatric physiotherapy (preferred but not mandatory). Strong understanding of child development and neurodevelopmental conditions. Excellent communication skills with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Empathetic, patient, and adaptable to each child’s individual needs. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
