Physical Therapist PT

As a Physical Therapist at FutureCare, you will have the opportunity to evaluate and treat patients using therapeutic procedures to restore muscle strength, coordination, and body alignment, relieve pain, and improve movement and function. You will be expected to exercise sound judgment, provide adequate care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support and inform within the realm of Physical Therapy. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate and treat patients under physician orders - Utilize a variety of therapeutic procedures to restore muscle strength, coordination, and body alignment - Relieve pain and improve movement and function - Exercise sound judgment in the performance of duties - Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing support and information Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy - Current license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Maryland - Supervision, training, and/or experience in long-term or sub-acute care - Certification and demonstrated competency in specialized areas - Proficiency in applying physical therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment - Ability to assess resident needs and develop comprehensive care plans - Familiarity with accreditation standards and compliance requirements At FutureCare, we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, offering stable schedules, generous benefits, and a collaborative work environment.
