Physical Education Teacher

As a Physical Education Teacher at our school, your role will involve supervising practical PE lessons, motivating students to explore new sports, evaluating their performance, training school sports teams, and ensuring students pass their PE exams. You will also be responsible for attending parents evenings to provide comprehensive progress reports, transporting students and teachers to sporting events, and promoting a safe and competitive environment for all students. Key Responsibilities: - Supervising practical PE lessons, both indoors and outdoors - Ensuring students compete at their ability level while avoiding unnecessary injuries - Motivating students to explore new sports and athletic pursuits - Evaluating student performance throughout the school year - Training and coaching school sports teams for national events - Transporting students, teams, and teachers to and from sporting events - Helping students pass practical and theoretical PE exams Qualifications Required: - Education: B. Ped - Experience: Previous experience as a PE Teacher/Sports Teacher preferred - Deep understanding of the subject and health and safety regulations - Good verbal and written communication skills - Nurturing and adaptable approach to instruction - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and debating skills - Ability to remain calm under pressure About the Organization: The Swami Shukdevanand High School, founded in 1988 by Shri R.V Patel, is part of the Sahaj Jeevan Education Trust.
