PhD Opportunities in Environmental Chemistry and Water Research

The Pan Lab at the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), is seeking applications for two PhD positions beginning in January 2026. The successful candidates will be involved in advanced research at the intersection of environmental chemistry, interfacial science, and materials science, focusing on three key areas: - Ensuring drinking water safety during infrastructure renovation (WaterHealth) - Developing membrane technologies for efficient desalination (WaterEnergy) - Creating electrodes for contaminant removal and resource recovery (WaterSustainability) The program offers a competitive stipend, full tuition coverage, comprehensive health insurance, and access to top research facilities like the Singapore Synchrotron Light Source.
