Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and in a timely manner Review prescriptions to ensure proper dosage, interactions, and legality Provide clear and compassionate counseling to patients on medication use, side effects, and storage Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other staff to maintain workflow and compliance Ensure the pharmacy complies with all federal, state, and local regulations Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and process medication orders Administer vaccinations and provide basic health screenings (if certified) Stay updated with new drugs, treatments, and pharmacy best practices through continuing education.
