High School Math Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Math Teacher for Grade 9 to 12 to deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to our students.

Qualifications

Master degree in Mathematics with B.Ed
Proven experience as a Math Teacher ( min 5-6 years experience for grade 9 - 12 )
Strong understanding of mathematics principles and concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Patience and flexibility to deal with challenges faced by students in learning math.
Proficiency in using computers and other technology for instruction.
Problem-solving skills to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance students’ interest and understanding in math.
Interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with students, parents, and other staff, promoting a supportive learning environment.
Organizational skills to prepare lesson plans, assessments, and reports, and manage classroom activities effectively.
Patience and empathy to work with students who may have difficulty understanding mathematical concepts, providing extra support when necessary.
Proficiency with technology to integrate digital tools and resources into the teaching process, enhancing the learning experience.
Ability to stay updated with the latest educational standards and trends in math education.

Job Type: Full-time
