As a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Chemistry, your role involves teaching senior secondary students of Grades 11 & 12 following the CBSE curriculum. Your responsibilities will include: - Teaching Chemistry to students of Grades 11 & 12 as per the CBSE syllabus. - Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans to promote conceptual understanding and application-based learning. - Conducting practical experiments and laboratory sessions to facilitate hands-on learning. - Preparing students for CBSE board examinations and competitive exams such as JEE/NEET. - Utilizing innovative teaching methodologies, including technology-based learning and real-world applications. - Assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and implementing necessary remedial measures. - Encouraging student participation in Science Olympiads, research projects, and extracurricular activities. - Maintaining academic records and ensuring proper safety measures in the chemistry lab. - Collaborating with fellow faculty members for interdisciplinary learning and school initiatives. - Staying updated with CBSE guidelines, new advancements in Chemistry, and best teaching practices. Qualifications and Skills required for this position: - Educational Qualification: Masters degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry along with a B.Ed degree (mandatory). - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school. - Strong subject knowledge in Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry. - Excellent communication and classroom management skills. - Ability to simplify complex concepts for better student understanding. - Proficiency in integrating technology and digital tools into teaching. - Passion for teaching and motivating students. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with NEP 2020 guidelines, interdisciplinary teaching approaches, and participation in science fairs, research projects, and school activities.
