You are a skilled Accounts Executive responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, TDS/GST filings, PF compliances, and other related activities. You should be proficient in handling Tally, Excel, and staying updated with statutory requirements. You will be part of the Collective Newsroom, which is home to more than 250 journalists and operational staff focused on delivering distinctive, impartial, and world-class content across various Indian languages and English. Your key responsibilities include maintaining daily accounting entries in Tally, filing TDS returns accurately and on time, handling PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance filings, reconciling vendor, customer, and bank accounts, as well as supporting audits and assisting with monthly/year-end closing. To excel in this role, you must possess a solid understanding of accounting principles related to Income Tax, GST, TDS, and PF, be proficient in Tally and MS Excel, have strong reporting and compliance skills, and hold a degree in B.Com/M.Com/MBA (Finance)/CA-Inter (Dropout) with at least 2-4 years of relevant experience.
