Shell Recharge Solutions is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer Performance Testing What you will do: • Establish performance benchmark and optimize application performance for Cloud applications. • Own performance engineering tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members. • Integrate performance testing with continuous Integration process • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and diagnose bugs and formulate solutions and validate application stability and performance meets expectations • Develop and execute maintainable automation performance suites. • Draft test plans and scripts for break/fixes and new development changes •Execute test scripts and document results Who we’re looking for: If you find passion in the Company’s mission, your qualifications and interest align with the expectations below, we would love to talk to you about this position. • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent experience required. • 5-8 years of relevant experience in performance testing and engineering Must Have: • LoadRunner, Jmeter or equivalent load simulation tools • Working knowledge of any APM tool (eg AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog or equivalent) • Performance testing experience with Java applications and API based applications • Performance tuning , capacity planning, Load, Scalability and Reliability Testing. Understanding of concepts such as JVM, Garbage Collection, Threading • Strong verbal and written communication skills: proven ability to lead both vertically and horizontally to achieve results; thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment and do what it takes to deliver results Good to Have: • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, including joins, data models and transactional flows • Cloud Experience - AWS • Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket, Jira, Scrum, SonarCloud and CI/CD processes.
