Performance Engineer / Tester

Responsible for designing, executing and analyzing non functional and performance tests to ensure scalability, reliability and efficiency of a TCP based middleware solution for a high throughput transaction processing switch

• Profound understanding of payment software non functional testing methodologies
• Design and execute performance and failover tests to evaluate scalability and reliability of the solution
• Identify performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for improvement
• Analyze test results and generate detailed performance reports.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases/data based on requirements
• Ensure thorough coverage of non functional requirements
• Execute manual and automated tests cases
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry standard tools for automation testing
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving software quality
• Work closely with PO, developers etc and other key stakeholders to ensure high quality deliverables
• Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation
• Minimum 7 years of experience in performance testing with a focus on payment software
• Technical skills: Paragon simulator or equivalent, JMeter or equivalent, Gremlin or equivalent, Linux, HP NSK a plus
