Job Overview The Peptides Production Head will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end production operations in the peptides manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of peptide synthesis and purification processes. Key Stakeholders: Quality, R D, Engineering, Vendors and support functions. Reporting Structure Matrix relationship to site head Experience Min 15 to 25 years in Peptides Production Competencies Experience and Knowledge of end-to-end Production Planning and control for Peptides manufacturing. Clear communication. Analytical mindset. Quick and effective decision making. Stakeholder management. Leadership Skill Problem Solving Skills. Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee and manage day-to-day production activities to meet delivery schedules. Develop and implement production plans to optimize capacity, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Monitor production KPIs, analyse performance gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Ensure adherence to GMP, regulatory, and safety standards. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs teams for inspections and audits. Establish robust SOPs and maintain documentation as per compliance requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team Foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and innovation. Ensure training programs are in place for staff development. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance yield, efficiency, and scalability. Evaluate and implement new technologies for peptide manufacturing. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on production performance and challenges. Ensure optimal utilization of raw materials, equipment, and manpower. Qualifications B E Chemical/ M.Sc./ Ph. D/ B.Sc. / B. Pharm/ M. Pharm with relevant experience in Peptide manufacturing unit.
