Penetration Tester

Role Overview: At EG, we develop industry-specific software that focuses on the needs of our customers. As part of our Cyber Security team in Mangalore, we are seeking a Junior Penetration Tester/Penetration Tester to contribute to our mission of providing top-notch security services and competencies in the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape. Key Responsibilities: - Perform penetration tests on web & mobile applications and define security improvements. - Conduct penetration tests on cloud & IT infrastructure and establish secure architecture and hardening standards. - Test and implement new security testing tools & solutions such as DAST, vulnerability scanners, external attack surface management, and cloud security posture management. - Review configurations of applications, cloud & IT infrastructure to ensure security. - Continuously enhance the penetration testing methodology and test delivery model. - Advise IT teams and business on security topics and recommend remediation actions. - Automate security testing activities. - Deliver security training for IT and business teams. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in cybersecurity, IT, telecommunications, or related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in penetration testing. - Security certifications like OSCP, OSWE, CEH, LPT, GWAPT, GPEN, GXPN, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, PenTest+ or others are a plus. - Knowledge of penetration testing tools such as Burp, Kali Linux, vulnerability scanners. - Familiarity with security testing solutions like vulnerability scanners, SAST, SCA, DAST, CSPM, and attack surface management solutions. - Strong verbal and written communication skills with leadership and time management abilities.
