Job Description – PEB Designer

Position: PEB Designer / Detailer
Industry: Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed construction, fabrication, and erection drawings for all PEB components including structural frames, columns, rafters, beams, roof/wall panels, accessories, flashing, doors, windows, and foundations.
• Interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings and convert them into fabrication-ready and erection-ready detailing.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers, structural engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and ensure precise implementation of all technical details.
• Detail steel structure connections including bolts, welds, plates, and brackets ensuring structural integrity, manufacturability, and ease of assembly.
• Generate detailed material lists (BOQ) including material quantities, types, and specifications required for PEB fabrication.
• Utilize 3D design software such as Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools to create 2D/3D models, GA drawings, assembly drawings, and connection detailing for PEB structures.
• Ensure all drawings and designs comply with relevant local and international standards such as AISC, BS, IS codes, or other applicable standards.
• Provide technical support and clarifications to fabrication, manufacturing, and site erection teams, resolving drawing-related or structural queries.
• Modify and revise drawings based on client instructions, design updates, or changes during the construction phase.
• Perform rigorous quality checks to ensure all drawings meet accuracy, code compliance, and project specifications.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of drawings, revisions, and documentation for internal, client, and regulatory use.
• Prepare GA drawings, anchor bolt layouts, fabrication drawings, and detailed component drawings for all PEB elements.
• Capable of preparing material estimation for any PEB project, including steel tonnage, sheeting, accessories, and related components.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
